Having recently moved from Lycra with a chamois insert to protect my crown jewels from wear and tear too a pair of Endura shorts with what appears to be a piece of blue karimat inside I've found that the old meat and two veg sweat a fair bit more.
I tried a pair of cotton briefs under them today and have just got back from Sommerfields with an emergency tube of Savlon :-(
So - general consensus - Endura shorts worn commando?

I thought Enduro shorts were supposed to be worn with a liner with & padded chamois. ;D

I tend to wear padded cycling shorts under my endura shorts because they feel like they would tear your old man to bits.
At least then you can wash the lycra shorts after. If my endura shorts dont get too dirty on rides I I will use em a couple times before washing them.

Gw8izr, you know the score, got any pics of your mashed up meat & two veg? ;D
I have the Endura 'Clickfast' lycra inners to use with my Zyme shorts, they have a yellow foam insert to keep my fat ass from bruising too much. No problem with the old betty swollocks either.

Well it would certainly make an entertaining war wounds picture, I can do a passable "last turkey in the xmas shop" :-)
I'm fairly sure now that the damage was actually done the day before as I got PWT on a walk when there was a bit of abrasion, this was then made worse on a 30 miler round the local roads yesterday... bloody sore though.
The Endura Burners feature a drop liner - which means they really need washing each time you use them which is a nuisance and I'm not sure I can use a second removable liner or Lycra underneath.

Ive got the endura burner 3/4 shorts and they dont have any liners in them, I have to wear padded lycra underneath. Should they have come with a liner?

Not all Endura shorts come with inners / undershorts.
My Zyme shorts didn't, i bought the padded lycras separately.
