hi guys this (may be a silly question) but can anybody tell me the best pre ride food i should be eating

I find a few stellas and a large doner the night before do the trick Failing that, porridge, bananas, flapjacks etc before/during the ride and chocolate milkshake post ride work for me

Porridge mixed with a spoonful of Nutella for breakfast,good slow release food. 30 mins before ride high energy snack to kick start all engines.Go bar or viper bar. Post ride a fast release protein and carbohydrate drink to restore levels and repair muscle fibres. Maximuscle Cyclone

Porridge mixed with a spoonful of Nutella for breakfast,good slow release food. That's my trick It certainly seems to do the trick though and it's lovely. I think the Nutella gives you a sugar boost and the oats keep you going for ages. Put a load of brown sugar in the porridge too ;D

2-3 raw eggs in 1 pint of milk, put in shaker to mix. Gulp it down and keeps me going for hours.

2-3 raw eggs in 1 pint of milk, put in shaker to mix. Gulp it down and keeps me going for hours. Back to basics; try 2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites and a tbsp of nesquik powder in about 250ml of Whole Milk, then about 30min later have your porridge with peanut butter and cinnamon... A great combo, fuels you for hours. Just before the ride Waxy Maize in fruit juice with some Beta Alanine & L-Taurine (5g Each).
