That looks pretty good, im after somthing like that myself for my wolf ridge, the only thing that puts me off is the remote, handlebar controll, i know a guy who has the maverick one and he has the remote jobby and he ses hes had to replace it a few times. I think I would prefer the under seat lever systems where there is lees to go wrong maybe?

I can see these becoming standard equipment on bikes in a couple of years - once the reliability issues have been sorted of course.

I don't think it'll be far off Crank Bros pricing of the remote seatpost - £170

I've tried the one with a lever under the seat, I found that on certain sections it could ruin the flow by having to take your hand of the bars to adjust the seat, thats why I want the remote version so I can flick the lever and lower the seat as soon as I go down a steeep section and back up again on a sudden incline. I know a guy with a gravity dropper with a lever on the bars and he swears by it.

The adjustable post is a great idea but for now I’m going to stick with my Thomson seat post until they sort out the reliability. I know a couple of people with the Crank Brothers Joplin who are suffering with dirt and grit in the unit.
The Command post is standard fit on the 2009 Enduro SL Pro and S-Works

There was a servicing guide in MBR recently for the Joplin. Apparently the seals can be replaced with Fox items, which can extend the period inbetween servicing.
Either way, regular servicing is inevitable. You've just got to be prepared to do it yourself, otherwise it'll cost you alot more than the £150 retail price.
Its a shame really. With the suspension technology so advanced these days you'd think a simple thing like this would be simple to keep working
