Had a bolt come loose on the Ibis after only 6 rides. There is no loctite on it. Is this normal? I am thinking no as it a pivot point but not happy a bolt loosened itself after such a short period.

All of mine with bearings around them had threadlock on them except the one through the top of the shock. That one kept coming loose after I changed the bush so I threadlocked that one too and it's been fine since.

Ideally threadlock the pivot bolts, wont come loose and will do no harm at all, should have been done when built, especially the price of the frame.

Ben told me of your problem Damon. I mentioned it to my mate with the white Ibis. We looked at it last night, lo and behold,his was the same. It was just a cigarette paper away from touching the frame.

Lol the adverts on this website are the most spot on for the topic at hand that I've ever seen. You mention loctite and BANG there's an advert for loctite.
