Hiya, Karen from Kinmel Bay here *waves* ;D Just done a core skills course at Llandegla & discovered how to stop going over the front of the handlebars!! Yey Having a quick mooch about here & see you have regular rides - are the dates listed somewhere? (Apologese if they are somewhere obvious, but not much time to scour during dinner time in work). Would be good to ride somewhere other than the trail centres or the Marin, but get scared about being lost so never venture out! Very much a red route rider so need to know which ones to avoid! Thanks in advance Kx

Yey Maybe you can ride next to me and tell me how to stop doing that ;D Having a quick mooch about here & see you have regular rides - are the dates listed somewhere? Would be good to ride somewhere other than the trail centres or the Marin, but get scared about being lost so never venture out! Very much a red route rider so need to know which ones to avoid! Thanks in advance Kx As everyone else has said, welcome to the Forum If you look in the 'Plan your rides & invite others' section, you will see a list of rides that people are planning on doing. If you see anything you fancy, put your name down and just turn up. Don't be shy, nobody bites. If you prefer, then there's a group of ladies female riders who try and organise monthly rides aimed at getting more girls out. This would be a great way of getting to know people and also catch up on all the gossip ;D Just bring your sense of humour with you

Thanks for the friendly response! What is it with flapjacks?!hehe Don't think i've ever made them - not bad at molly (malteser) cake though if that's any good?! Weekday & girly rides sound good. I'm a little bit unreliable as I'm a wind addict, so biking has just become my no wind day love (which we had too many off the beginning of this year) & Conwy sounds like a perfect distance from home! Has anyone been up the Orme? Someone told me you could spend a week playing up there & not cover the same places twice??

If you're a regular on the Marin, it could be time to post a WillyWave, to get your foot on the ladder as it were.

Setting a personal best time on a known trail. There is a leaderboard in the Racing & Competition section. The willwaving is a blokey showing off term; not particularly PC but thats
