Cyclocross

I'm thinking of doing some cyclocross racing this year, starting with Revolution's series in October

Does anyone have any experience or tips? ;D

When people say cyclocross "Slippy muddy hills" is what comes to mind:

The Aldi bike shoes they have at the moment have removable metal studs on the toes - might be handy if it gets muddy ;D

If you are getting a proper CX bike then get one with disc brakes on it.
