Hello...
I am pleased to say that the sessions have been running for the last few weeks, usual attendance is 4-5 people. Maximum is about 12, owing to space requirements.
Sessions run from 5-6.30 at The Pound MMA, in Bangor. Typical session:
10min Warm Up
8min Circuit x 2 (ie. Kettlebell Swings, Pull Ups, Press Ups, Bent Row, V Sits, Lunges, Skipping)
2min Rest
8min Circuit x 2 (i.e. Agility Ladder, Hurdles, Squats, Clean and Press, Rope Press Ups)
2min Rest
12min Speed Agility and Quickness Circuit (Ladders, Hurdles, Reaction Games)
2min Rest
15min Strength Conditioning (Tyre Flips and Jumps, Squats to Sprints, Rope Pull Ups and Bent Rows etc)
5min Game (reaction and leg work)
10min Stretch
The sessions are always different, and depending on who turns up, they evolve to suit individual needs; if we have martial artists attending, we do some work with explosive upper body work and core isometrics. If we have more MTB guys rocking up, the tyres and heavier weights for the legs will come out!
It's £3 per session, first session is free. Please text me on 07989690347 before 1600hrs on the day if you're coming down, so I can alter the session to suit numbers.
Please wear shorts and t-shirt/vest, and bring a tracksuit/warm layer to wear afterwards. A towel, bottle of water / electrolyte drink and a pair of training gloves if you don't want the iron grip of a viking god and associated callouses!
