Dunno what's happened, but after my first off-road experience with the Giant today I find that when the fork tops there's a tinny click, not quite a clunk.
What could cause this? Wasn't there before.

No, not yet Martin.
I've got my 3 month free service due in about 4 weeks so I thought I'd wait till then and mention it. It's still doing it.

if ya forks are air sprung try putting abit more air in them???to set ya sag on ya front forks place a cable tie round the leg stanchion.then slide it down to the fork seal .sit normal on the bike then get off and see where the cable tie is on the fork it wants to be around 25-30% of the overall travel of the fork.i.e the cable tie shound be around 25-30mm away from the fork seal on a 100mm travel fork.if not add or take air to get the sag right hope this helps bud!!!T if there not air sprung i carnt help ya but it sounds like they needed the sag setting for your weight to be honest.failing that make the most of your free service init!!!!!!!

Right. I took the bike in last Saturday for its 3 month "service". I mentioned the "clicking" as an issue and they said they'd look at it.
When I collected the bike I was told "...it's just the spring. It should be okay, but if it get's any worse pop it back to the shop"!! That's it. Amazing. "It's just the spring". Feck me!! And there was me thinking it was the bi-directional electro-magnetic flux capacitor.
