Another new person joining - I've been pointed in this direction by some friendly guys on STW. Just moved to Deganwy, so new to the area, but not totally unfamiliar as I've only moved from Waunfawr. Need to work on my confidence, skills and fitness more in order to try and keep up on a group ride! But will hopefully come out on ride soon  |

Welcome to the forum, plenty of girls on here, you'll never be short of someone to go out riding with, check out the Plan your rides and Forum rides sections.
Don't worry about your fitness, most of the rides will say what sort of pace it will be at and the milage. Just get out and join in, it's the best way to improve yourself.

Welcome aboard Susi. As per the above - plenty of rides arranged via the Plan Your Rides section. If you like riding up hills then join one of Gus's rides - he's an expert at finding the steepest hill in the area.  |

When I first read the title and saw your name, I thought you were Craigy Boy's girlfriend joining up to keep an eye on his movements ;D Anyway, welcome to the site  As Gus has said, there's a good group of girls on here are very friendly and welcoming. At the moment they're all getting drunk in the Lake District under the pretence of a biking weelend  Don't worry about your fitness, just get yourself on one of the rides you will find in the 'Post Your Rides' section and that will soon come. Hi There, also from STW who pointed you to MBNW, hope to see you on some rides don't be worried about coming on any rides were a friendly patient bunch! ;D We like to pick a ride that ends near a pub.

Cheers all, thanks for the welcome. Would have loved to come on the Long Mynd trip asive been wanting to ride there for a while but am unfortunately away (doing my first Alley Cat race - not sure what urban racing in fancy dress will be like!) But will keep an eye on the rides board and hopefully come out with you soon. No idea who Craigy Boy is ... but I'm definately not his girlfriend |

Welcome to the forum Susi. We usually plan a girl's ride once a month, but you may notice more guys on them than girls.....the advantage of this is they hold the gates open for us, fix our punctures....but you've got to keep them supplied with jelly beans ;D Always a friendly welcome for newcomers |
