Ok I work in catering and can definately under no circumstances take part in a forum ride on a Saturday however much I would love to, surely the odd Sunday one isnt too much to ask as im sure more people are generally free on a Sunday?!

Yep, i can fully understand what you are saying.
It has already been bounded around here somewhere, i think the last comment was to try and arrange two 'official' forum rides a month. One on a Saturday and one on a Sunday, at different times of the month.
The MBNW Forum is still a lickle baby, so far there has only been one 'official' forum ride.
This is definately something we need to sort out for future forum rides.

The rides have for no real reason fallen on a saturday the next forum ride that is arranged will be on a sunday then we can alternate from saturday sunday, hopefully having a saturday ride and a sunday ride every month.
The rides that have been arranged eg the Snowdon and the worlds end carnt be changed now as once a date is set we have to stick to that as not to upset people that have arranged with work, family etc to go on that date ;D

Kay2 also watch out for the non forum rides that are happening every weekend, theres alway people riding, that the great thing about the forum.
If I fancy a ride i just check the forum and see if anyone is going out and if there aint i start one and some poor fecker usally ends up coming with me ;D

To add to that, there seems to be rides nearly every day at the moment so check to see if anything if happening on your day off in the week

yeah gtreat, this wasn't meant to sound arsy and i put the poll up so people can register what days they are available, where we live a great deal of people work in hospitality or retail outlets so i thought i would be their voice

Don't worry dude, you didn't come across as having a big chip on your shoulder ;D
You have a fair point that will hopefully be addressed in the not too distant future.

I'm lucky enough to be one of those that can do either day, but Sunday would be my preference out of the two.

I prefer saturday rides - means i get that all important rest day before i'm back in work.
My new job does overtime on saturdays though, which is tempting.

Mine has to be a Saturday as Sunday involves a long drive back to Suffolk unless i have the Monday off which is pretty rare unless i am on leave.
