I'm not sure if this place has been listed before but my mates just had his bottom bracket rethreaded by them and he's chuffed to bits because he thought his frame was shot. Apparently the first generation of Hollowtechs were notorious for damaging the BB because the threads weren't cut deep enough but this lot can sort it out. They've also done/are doing the bushes on his rear shock and he reckoned they are all pretty knowledgeable in the shop...ok it's down the M6 but you can always post stuff www.mountainbikecomponents.co.uk/repair.asp

The same happened to my Cove Hustler BB, I took out the old BB and the threads were buggered on the driveside, to fix this I had kept an old Shimano BB which was made out of tough steel, I cleaned the damaged frame thread as much as I could with white sprit and a nylon brush to get some thread to grip, then rethreaded it using the old steel BB, worked like a dream. Not saying it would work for everyone but lucky it did for me.

Ive fixed two bottom bracket threads now when i have removed the old cups and the thread has come with it out of the frame, i cleaned up what was left and bought a shimano saint bottom bracket which has a lot more thread length on the drive side cup so goes deeper into the frame than a standard cup and uses the thread not normally used and so saves the frame from being scrap.
