I decided to tag along with Ady ans sicruz down at brenin today to do the dragons back www.forestry.gov.uk/pdf/CyBA1safetypanelDragonsBacklowres.pdf/$FILE/CyBA1safetypanelDragonsBacklowres.pdfI got there about 3/4 of an hour before the other two, so I got my bike sorted in between showers and went for a brew. Ady and Sicruz turned up and we sat in the trail center drinking coffee and watching the rain hammer the ground outside, it was a case of do we, don't we?. We got suited and booted and decided on the MBR route, but at the next trail marker we decided to do the dragons back. The trail center was shutting at half four so we had to cut a bit out of the trail to get back in time to use the showers and get a warming brew. The dragons back incorporates most of the Beast, and what a trail, Ive got to say the best trail Ive done so far! I was proper buzzing even though the rain was hammering down and we were soaked ;D Thanks for a good day lads.

Dragons back is a really nice bit of trail. Morticia through to Uncle Fester (incorporating the rest of the Adams family on the way down.) is about the best singletrack I've done anywhere, Including spooky wood at Glentress. Everyone should ride it. Did you do the forestry loop after the little cafe? Always seperates the men from the boys that one.

Thats the bit we missed out because of time and wanting to get to the trail center for showers. They are building a trail through the center of that bit soon right down the middle. Lots of new trails getting built there including a new skills section on the way Was loving it all the way from Gomez to the end of uncle fester. Uncle fester was a good trail, fast and flowing, you drop your guard because its so flowing and then all of a sudden theres a rock garden just near the end, very very cheeky! ;D

Killer drag up the road from the cafe isn't it?
Probably best you didn't do the forestry loop, would have been very exposed today.
Skills section would be good although maybe better sited if close to the trail center.

Another reason to get yourself down there ;D
