Out of interest how many people have ridden at this spot? Lost of jumps and some pretty tech freeride if you know where to look. Stood the test of time as well, I remember starting the build etc over 10yrs ago now. Sh*t I'm getting old.

Haha, Rhyd Y Foel has been through it all. I used to go up every weekend about a year ago when we didnt have our jumps, but i still find my self goin up there regularly. Fun jumps, some good tracks, but also there has been some new DH tracks been made which are realy fun.
Get your self up there if you get a chance, defo worth the climb.

Brilliant riding spot but I fear we'll never get to use it to the full again. To get the most out of it you need to be howling along through the undergrowth with 50bhp between your legs, then the trees are menacing! Best times always come when there's an engine involved! New development's going to put a stop to a lot of it.

Several ways, easiest and fastest way is to go all the way to rhyd y foel village (google it) then park up and head towards the forest, you shud see an opening in the bottom corner of the forest, then follow the path and keep goin untill u get to the 2nd path that goes up the hill, go up it and keep goin up till u get to the top, go threw the trees following the path, then u will come to a junction, go left and follow the path allllll the way to the top of the mountain, takes around 15mins if you are pushing constantly, then wen u get to the top u will be in a sort of feild/ grassy area, you will see a fallen brick wall, go over the wall and into the trees, you will then see a berm and a line of jumps, those are the main DJs up ther. if you follow the trail up then u can find the different DH trail, u need to go over the fire road and to the very very top. Then choose a line and hit it.
Enjoy!
