Hey! My names sam and I've just (well two months ago) moved to bangor as an uni student to study marine biology.
So far I've yet to get out on the bike so I've lost all skill and fitness and I'm dying to get out and do some (easy) rides!

My rides nothing special, Dawes 1.6 07, a standardly modifed hardtail.

Welcome. There's a few of us in the Bangor /Anglesey area that you could link up to do some local rides. The Marin trail is just down the road in Betws, as well as Penmachno (when the weather gets a bit drier!)

If you're interested in getting out then check out the 'Plan your Rides' section, this is where you'll find out what's going on. As Aled has said, there's plenty of people on here from around your area, so there should be no shortage of someone to get out with. However, it does go a bit quieter over winter as some of the peeps aren't lovers of the cold nights ;D

Also as Tim has said, there's a group of people on here that are students at Bangor Uni, so check out the Uni bike club.

So far I've always had early lectures the day after the MTB club socials so have yet to make much contact but as mentioned it's winter .. as proven by the fine layer of snow everyones bashing on about.. I'll keep an eye out for rides

Get yourself down to spoons on thursday evening at about 9 mate. May not be the best time to meet us as vast amounts of alcohol are always consumed on a thursday. But you'll meet everyone, get in the loop ;D
