I find the best thing to do is just not fall off! (Although I tend to make an exception at trail centres- too many rocks to make the risk even remotely worth the cheap thrill.)

Just the legacy of my mis-spent youth really, not a great deal to do around here is there. Put it into perspective when I was in Ibiza last week, young lad came wheelying down the high street in San Antonio bay, manualling all the way down this hill on a £30 catalogue bike fair play to him. Not even V brakes, just old canties. Respect!
