I bought a pair of Juicy 7's second hand for my SS pub bike and having trouble geting them to work, anyone on hand with a bleed kit and some knowhow to help me sort them out please.

I still need a hand setting up bleeding my juicy 7's I have new olives and hose barbs also the pistons seem to be sticking, I would be happy to pop the bike over to someone who can help and has a bleed kit I have dot 5.1 fluid also.

Have you tried giving the exposed bit of the piston a clean with a cotton bud, then wiping a very small amount of DOT fluid on them to lubricate the piston and seals? It helped mine when they were sticking, although the back one needs doing again quite badly. There's some info here: www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/avid-sticky-pistons-amp-bleeding-stupid-contraptionsBe careful what you lubricate them with as some lubes will destroy the seals. I think I've used Finish Line dry lube rather than DOT fluid and it's been OK, but I might have just been lucky ;D
