Hi All How easy is it to change from a twist shifter to a finger shifter (dont know what the real name is) I keep changing gear as my hands are to big and cover the whole grip area  . cheers steve |

Very easy just by a rapid fire shifter and fit it  10min job |

The only problem you might have is that your old grips may be too narrow for comfort without the extra bit you get on the grip shift.
You'll probably have to take the old grips off to get the grip shifters off, so may as well treat yourself to some new grips while you're at it.
As Craig says though, dead easy to do. You just take the old cable out of the old shifter and thread it through the new. The cables are the same and they pull the same amount (just make sure your new shifters are compatible with your derailleurs).
