Last weeks ride at Llandegla finally confirmed my worst fears Winter riding is here Now I know I've been critical of people with mudguards in the past ("embrace the mud" and all that bollox) but a soaking wet arse is bad enough in the summer, It really pee's me off when it's booldy freezing cold as well So here she is in her winter dress ;D

Have you painted the rear guard? No I managed to find one that was the same colour as the bike (Chain Reaction). I'm not a big fan of how mud guards detract from the raw beauty of a mtb, so I tried to get some that at least looked as if they were meant to be there ;D

Mine's the same at the moment, two mudguards and one of those snazzy neoprene jobbies on the forks. Works brilliantly, looks crap. Like the colour coding though.

Hmm, hate to do it to the poor baby but after todays ride think she may be getting some of them mudguards soon. At least a crud cathcher up front.
