Last minute decision was made and off I pedaled toward conwy to meet Pikey and Ste at the Car park at the top of the sychnant pass.
Went from Llandudno and up the bottom track of Conwy Mountain then up on to the pass where Pikey and Ste were putting there bikes together. Unfortunately Ste had to abandon the ride due to a loose free hub so off me and Pikey went.
We went from the pass up towards Tal Y Fan and over towards the beginning of the Roman road, the place was like a river in places and we were over our hubs in water more than once.
Once we hit the roman road it was all one big fun wet down hill all the way in to aber, we stopped at the turning up to drum but as we were running short on time we had to abandon that idea.
That downhill in to aber is a top buzz and well worth a ride. Once we hit aber it was a road ride through Llanfairfechan and Pen over To the Fairy Glen then up the steep road to the top of the pass.
Once we reached the pass Pikey road off down in to conwy then home to Colwyn Bay but I couldn't resist the conwy mountain downhill so off i went up the mountain and down the other side back in to conwy (I love that downhill ;D). Then it was a road ride back to Llandudno.
What a top ride we were both soaked and covered in shite, just how it should be ;D.
Ran a memory map on it when i got home and it comes out at 50.9km, no wonder im falling asleep typing this ;D.
Nice 1 for the ride Pikey, got to do it again soon mate.
Heres the map and pics of the ride
(who needs to travel 5 hours to ride when you have this on your doorstep)
