I reckon the highes you went to was about 450m If you add all the asents together then they probably came to a total of 1255m, when Si and I did it we worked it out from the map the height was 450m or so. So your right there Martin.

Hey Oggy, rode the Roman Road with Leon the pro (forum member) on the weekend 14th. At the end above Aber when you hit the tarmac, did you go down the road or do you know a better route. We ended up dropping down the road and climbing up to the North Wales Path through Llanfairfechan.

Welcome to the forum Dave.
As far as I know when you hit the top of the aber road you can either do what you did and ride to Llanfair and go back up there (I take it you rode up mount road and around the back of pen quarry) or you can go back the way you came, neither are great options if you dont like hills.
What i do is ride to the Fairy Glen and bak up the sychnant road then go over conwy mountian. The conwy mountain downhill rocks ;D

Thanks for the welcome.
Do you go down the double track on the sychnant pass side of the mountain or use the tracks nearer the top and the sea side of the mountain.

When im riding form Conwy I always ride up the double track but on the way down I always use the track that you can see the sea from, did it in the dark last week, that was serious fun ;D
