Not sure whether this is in the correct section or whether to post about it at all, ah well he we go... After my recent experience on the Marin forum ride, i'm putting together a small list of spares that i can keep in my Camelbak for quick repairs on the trail. Things like spare mech hanger, extra power links, etc. I've got my little collection of spare parts now but i've got nothing to keep them in, i don't fancy just throwing them in my Camelbak loose. So, i went on tinternet and came across this website - www.plasticboxshop.co.ukThey do a small 150 ml plastic box (Width 9.5cm, Height 4cm, Length 7.5cm) for 45p, ideal i thought, until i clicked on their delvery charge - £7.99! I got in touch with them via email (Gary - sales@plasticboxshop.co.uk) and they came back almost immediately and said they would be able to tailor the P&P to my order. I've just ordered four boxes of various sizes and they have charged me £1.99 to send via Royal Mail. A lot better than £7.99. A big tick in the good customer service box from me ;D

I just use a bag from one of those fold away waterproof coats it has a pull cord so it stops all the bits rattling about and I just put it in a re-sealable plastic bag. Less bulky than a plastic box.

I have a few business card boxes spare. You could use a puncture repair kit box.

Sorry can we have a quick reality check here You are actually admitting to spending time surfing the net looking at tupaware Next time your in the supermarket or woolies have a quick look in the kitchen section and you will find all you need in the plastic tub world to satisfy your needs without havin to fork out for delivery. Alternatively steal the small tub your misses uses to take some grapes to work with her snappin ;D ;D Only joking love

Alternatively steal the small tub your misses uses to take some grapes to work with her snappin ;D ;D Its a constant source of amazement that women can go off to work with a plastic box containing three grapes and a cherry tomato - declaring it "lunch" On returning home often there will be one of the grapes left over..

That's because they get full up on the bag of chips they popped out at lunchtime for. ;D

Back on thread now ;D That plastic box company never got back to me after i emailed them my order so perhaps they weren't that good after all Anyway... I wandered into town at dinner time today and picked up one of these from Boots for £3 - Boots Mini Travel SetGo on, have a good old laugh at me but it's exactly what i've been after ;D I can fit everything i wanted to in this little box and i can use one of the squeezy bottles for lube. I thought the little pots might be useful for keeping spare power links, etc, in. I'm happy now, what a sad tw@t i am ;D
