After last weeks monsoon ride with Ady and Sicruz down at Coed y Brenin I decided I would try and laminate one of the route map leaflets.
Ady got his out a couple of times on the ride (The map!) and it was soon like mush. Today I picked up a roll of that thin plyable laminate from WHSmith to try and waterproof one.
See how I get on eh!

If you can just blow up the trail routes and have seperate laminates for each map without all the other detail writing around the map, that way they will be clearer and easier to read. Can't wait to test em out.

Martin,
laminated map leaflets will only work well if you dont end up folding it etc, if it ends up with creases in it will allow water in to that part, if its flat and with no creases it will last a while hence the reason we had to get smaller maps for my MLT as the big ones got wet in a day.
