Rode from Llandudno over to Conwy Mountain just before darkness. Did my usual loop but it was twice as challanging in the dark but what a buzz, wiped out 3 times and but nothing to serious. Think im gona be rideing more at night than in the day from now on ;D, got a few pics to Conwy from the Tal Y Fan side of the pass Using night mode First wipe out, the bermed cornors where really hard to see in the dark Llandudno from the top of conwy mountain Conwy and Deganwy from the top of conwy mountain Using night mode

No worries mate any time. You have to get night riding mate, its a completely different buzz. The downhills are amazing as they are a lot more challenging and give you that bit more of an adrenaline hit, but just being out there at night is amazing to especially on them cold still winters nights, makes you feel alive ;D

Get in on the action mate, you wont regret it ;D
You are right tho the lights are bloody expensive, im just going on the theory that they should last me for a good few years so should be a one off purchase (famous last words)
Dont think you need to spend an absolute fortune if you dont want to, its about being resourceful, i was chatting to one of the lads in lightspeed in Betws the other day and he was saying that he use's powerfull led walkers heads lamps (petzel etc), he wears one strapped to his helmet and removes the stap of one and attaches it to his bars.
As long as it works and lights up the trail who cares if its not the most expensive bike specific bit of kit, not like any one is gona see ya at night ;D
