Gop Hill, Trelawnyd - 8th April 2011

Gop Hill, 251m, 823ft, is located in the north of the county of Flintshire, North Wales. The hill is close to the northern end of the Offa's Dyke Path and is part of the Clwyd Trail. Gop Hill is the second largest pre-historic mound in Britain.

What an absolutely beautiful day to take a walk there, being only couple of miles from where I live makes it very handy, yet another place that's close to home and somewhere people travel from far and wide to visit. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm so lucky to live in North Wales. The walk was around 3-3.5 miles and covered the mound, surrounding woods and paths.

Well, I sold my Panasonic zs7/tz10 and went back to my old Panasonic TZ5 while I'm waiting on my new camera to be delivered (as it's on pre-order).

Great pics, right on my doorstep aswell, like you, i wouldn't live anywhere else bridlepaths are drying up nicely Gus so if you fancy a leisurely ride once you're back on the bike, give us a shout

I did another long local walk today, just one photo of an old house taken deep in the Ffynnongroyw woods....
