Can you post up a picture of the rotor bolts and the caliper?

Without a photo it is hard to say, but that should be happening!
Are the rotor bolts the ones that the disks came with?
You may need to use washers to space the adaptor out.

Thanks for the replies, I will post some pics, the rotor bolts are the same as I used before it seems as though the bottom of the new fork legs as thicker than the origional which causes the bolts to bind. cheers steve

it seems as though the bottom of the new fork legs as thicker than the origional which causes the bolts to bind That's what I was thinking, but it shouldn't be that close especially if the forks have disc brake mounts (i.e. designed to be used with disc brakes) I've got some cheap XCM (I think) forks with an XT front hub and there's plenty of space between the rotor bolts and the fork stanchions

I have suntour M2000 forks on the bike at the moment wich are IS mount, the ones I bought are suntour xcr post mount but the bottom of the forks are very different my existing ones have an indent to allow for the rotor bolts but the xcr ones are the same size top to bottom,do I need a thinner wheel?.Just thought it would be an easy upgrade until I can afford my ultimate bike cheers steve
