Howdo all, just though I'd pop my head up and say Hello. I'm Bob. Moved to the Wrexham area not so long ago and having moved out of a stinky city took the opportunity to restore my old Spesh and hit the trails.
So far it's just been Llandegla given I live less than 10 minutes away, it's helped dust off the skills and that lovely long hill is definitely helping the fitness levels, (I've stopped rolling backwards down the hill so surely that's a good thing right?).
Planning to branch out to Penmachno, Coed Y Brenin etc as my skills/fitness improve and maybe I'll bump into one or two of you out there (not physically of course, that would be bad).

Welcome to the area, and the forum mate. Keep an eye on the Plan Your Rides section to find out when people are heading where, and also post up your own rides.

Welcome to the forum. There's a few of us on here in the Wrexham(ish) area so as Jon says keep an eye out on the plan your rides section. The forum ride this month is in your neck of the woods, led by Gus who knows every trail there is to know in the Clwyds, plus a few more :-)

Thanks for the welcome guys, must admit Rupert from mooching round the site this morning I noticed the forum ride and I'm just about to add my name to the list (in for a penny etc).
So if any of you are going to be on this months ride I should see you there (just don't laugh at my antiquated ride, it's got v brakes and everything...)

Thanks for the welcome guys, must admit Rupert from mooching round the site this morning I noticed the forum ride and I'm just about to add my name to the list (in for a penny etc). That's probably the best way to get to know the people from here. You'll enjoy some natural riding, especially The Clwyds. So if any of you are going to be on this months ride I should see you there (just don't laugh at my antiquated ride, it's got v brakes and everything...) I only got my first bike with disc braks only 18months after 20+ years of riding. Don't worry no-one will laugh at your bike, well not in front of you anyway ;D Oh yes, Welcome to the Forum. If you need any help then just shout up
