Hi All. Pretty new to this forum sort of thing but have been riding for a while now. Started off being dragged up to Coed Llandegla by my friend, a little unsure coming down on the blue route. Now I'm racing down the black route looking like some sort of mad, mud covered, crazy woman! And loving it! I'm a fitness instructor and personal trainer based in North Wales. So when I'm not on my bike, I'm on a spin bike (not covered in mud!) Would love to join up with the monthly meet sometime.

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you're looking to get out more and learn new routes, then you've come to the right place as there is always a ride going on somewhere. Keep your eyes open in the 'Plan Your Rides' section', as this is where all the planned rides are advertised. If you see anything you like the look of, then turn up and introduce yourself. You'll also find an active group of girls on here who get out for a gossip ride on a regular basis. These rides are aimed at getting more girls out without the added pressure of being intimidated by the blokes on here. (Well, that's what they claim )

Sounds great, I like a good gossip ride! I'm not from North Wales, I've moved here from the south coast so I don't really know about many places so would be great to get some advise about the local places I can get to.

As most people have said, next week's Forum Ride is a good place to start. These are designed to be monthly social rides in a different area each month. The idea being that you will get to know people and put faces to names, whether that's a good thing or not
