Hi North Wales! I used to ride a lot as a young teenager but the past 4 or 5 years I had lost interest really but then i got fat so I'm getting back on it. Used to ride in coed llandegla - and loved it! I had a GT Tempest '95 up until a few weeks ago and then it was stolen (contact me if you see it please i would appreciate somehow getting it back). Just bought a Saracen Xcell-2005 i think which i know is a pretty rubbish jumping bike but I've got to start from the bottom really and I've not got much cash to burn at the mo. I look forward to being a member of this community and getting out there with you all

Welcome to the Forum I wouldn't worry too much about what bike you ride, it's all about getting out and enjoying yourself. And the best way to do that is to check out the 'Plan your Rides' section, as this is where all the planned rides are advertised. If you see something you like the look of, just turn up and introduce yourself. Most rides have a comment about what pace they're going to be, so if you're not sure, look for a ride that says 'social pace' or 'all welcome'. That way you know you won't be out with the racing snakes If you're not sure, just shout up, we're a friendly bunch on here

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about your bike, i started off riding an old gt aggressor and it managed most of the rides on here ;D Wrexham's not exactly mtb mecca, but you can put together some decent rides if you don't mind linking paths with a bit of road
