I know we're in July and so on but following the sale of my Whyte E5, I have a few MTB specific bits that i really dont think i'll use again.
First off - one pair of Shimano MW80 boots - size 46. Shimano sizes seem pretty small to me as i'm usually a size 43 shoe but these fit me nicely with cycling socks plus sealskinz over the top and are toastie warm. Only worn around 4 or 5 times and so near perfect condition. Cheapest i've seen these new is £110 so looking for £65 posted.
Next are excellent condition Shimano M086 Bronze shoes. Very clean (after a trip in the washing machine). Size 45 but again probably better suited to a normal UK9. £40 posted
Finally, very little used Time Atac Carbon pedals with 2 sets of cleats (off the above shoes). Only had about 10 rides on the bike and no marks on them. Usual price is North of £100 plus the extra cleats (£15). £65 posted.
I'll post pics asap and am also willing to negotiate on combinations of the above.

Ok mate let me know. I'm a borderline 44 / 45 summer Shimano and the extra size of the boot allows for my winter socks.
My road shoes are size 44 Specialized BG Pro

I'm usually a UK 10 or 10.5, but I already have some older Shimano (non-gore tex) winter boots about 6 years old, so will check the size on them tomorrow. I don't normally bother with thicker socks in winter, so would probably be OK. I know what you mean about the sizing being a bit funny though.

Hi Rupert Just let me know then. Useful info there Phil - i think my feet being very wide require me to size up - but i know i tried 44, 45 and 46 before I bought them so was happy with the sizing for me.

OK my existing (pre-Gore Tex) winter shoes are a 45 and my other (bought this year) Shimano summer shoes are a 46, so I'd be willing to take a risk on them and sell them on if they don't fit. That is unless you have a reason to be in the Llandegla / Corwen / Wrexhamish area any time soon so I could try them on? I assume these are the current design so look like this? www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop/Apparel/Shoes/Shoes+-+MTB/Shimano+MW80+Shoes_BMW80.htm

Hi Rupert
I'm not a million miles away but other than road rides dont come down that way i'm afraid. Yes they are the latest design a la Merlin site - i only bought them new at the back end of the winter season this year and hence the very very light use. I'm home in half an hour or so, so will post a picture up here for you to see.
Cheers Paul

MW80's received today, cheers Paul. Slightly generous fit, but nothing a pair of slightly thicker socks won't fix. Excellent condition too :-)

Glad you got them and are happy Rupert. I was glad of the extra space when riding in them as i hate cold feet so used a pair of socks plus the sealskinz
