Newbie in Bangor

Hullo all,
Am relatively new to the mountain biking and was pointed in the direction of this site as you have "much info on local rides 'n' such", so just thought I'd say hello!

I am based in Bangor, and have no transport (other than my bike) so would be looking for rides I can do from home (today I went up to Ogwen Lake and back).

If you're looking for new places to ride, you've certainly come to the right place. Just keep your eyes open in the 'Plan Your Rides' section as this is where all the planned rides are advertised.

If you like the look of anything then shout up, and if anyone is passing Bangor, then I'm sure they'll be able to offer you a lift.

Welcome to the forum! I'm based in bangor during term time (i'm at bangor uni, as are some other folk on here), i'd be more than happy to show you some trails when i get back up there! There are always nice people offering lifts to places further afield as well, and the train can get you to the marin trail and conwy mountain, hopefully see you on the trails soon!
