They will be open all day Sunday, from 7.30am ish (TBC) till late, with cafe/bar, food & tunes. Oh, did we mention the wood fired HOT TUBS? with waiter service?......Room for 6 people per tub, £40 per hour, pre showering and booking are essential, message reuben hayward in members, or mail cafeseren@yahoo.co.uk for more info & bookings Check out the FB page: www.facebook.com/groups/224362174242635/So why not come down and make a weekend of it. Think I'll be stopping over in the camper van. We're gonna allow camper vans to stay over Sat night. There's other camping nearby just up the road at Cae Gwyn. Reuben Hayward had this to add; Cafe Seren bar will be open an till midnight Saturday and sunday Heated marquee, hot tubs under the stars Sweet & savoury pancakes and eclectic tunes from the Skarumba Hifi DJs. What more could you want?

I have a couple of the 'original' design MBNW tops available if anyone wants to borrow one for this event. I have a large long sleeved top and a large short sleeved top. Both are the 'Freeride' style, with 3/4 length zips and three pockets on the back. All I ask is that you wash them after you've ridden in them and make sure I get them back

Well the weather was with us today , warm but no bright sunshine . Route took us well out of the normal forest tracks before returning to some single track and narrow path fun eventually . Not happy at having to push some sections but a little happier when Marchall's said nobody had ridden it . Even did some bits that I've only been on as a off piste ride ;D . Most annoying thing though was working really hard on a climb only to be brought to a complete stop by people getting off and walking downhill parts of the MBR and not letting you past Not to bad a ride for myself though , finished somewhere around 21/2 hrs for the 30 k which measured out about 32k on my little tracker . But who knows . Glad I opted for the 30 as I was pretty knackered at times , well done those that did the 50k . Definitely need more miles in the legs before I go for that .

Well that was bloody brilliant.... Like Ken said the weather was perfect... The route took in the best of CyB singletrack aswell as some sweet natural singletrack oh and I almost forgot to mention the killer climbs. I opted to do the 53km route and I'm glad I did they kept the best natural singletrack for the longer route.... A super steep loose, rocky, muddy and rooty section which I managed 2 fall off twice on.... And then a very narrow , steep and fast track towards the feed station where the highlights for me. Event was very well organised ...... Can't wait to do this again along with the dyfi Enduro next year Oh I managed to roll over the finish line of the 53km route after 4 hours 44 mins....which I was very happy with until I found out the winner managed it in 2hours 45.... He must of been on more than just jelly babies

Really enjoyed that.
Set myself a target of 3hrs for the 30km and rolled in after 2hrs 53mins. Plenty of banter on the way round, some interesting off piste sections as well as some of the beast etc. weather was kind to us and the coffee and carrot cake were absolutely first class.....I'll be chucking my hat in the ring for next year if they run it again.
