New to MBNW from Chester

Hello People

Hello my name is Wouter aka Woody but I've noticed there is already another Woody amongst the members, I'm Dutch born & bred and have been living in the UK since 1995 and live in Chester. I'm new to forums but I've been snooping around this one and really like the look of it all. I've been into MTB-ing for a few years now and started it really as an "alternative" fitness activity as I was getting bored with the "Gym-Routine" i.e. pay through the nose and end up not going for most of the year Anyway I really got the bug now and frequently ride Llandegla when not working shifts. Problem is that, due to working shifts I often ride alone and I would much rather share rides and the inevitable buzz, sharing tips & skills etc. with like minded people. I also would like to discover some more routes and trails. I really fancied meeting up at upcoming forum-ride on the 30th but am unfortunately working I'm no fitness freak so if any of you are shift workers too and ride mid-week as well as weekends (which I occasionally get off) then I'd love to meet up anywhere really...

welcome woody, there are plenty of weekday riders and shift workers up round your way my friend and don't be afraid to tag along when they post up because we have all levels of fitness on here. if you do get a chance to get on a forum ride its a great way to meet everybody at a pace to suit all. again welcome to the premier north wales biking forum

Hello, as tinytim said there are quite a few shift-workers here, along with students and 'people of leisure', so rides often pop up mid week. Anything from trail centres to all day XC rides. Keep your eyes peeled and come and join us.
