Just a quick heads up that the North Wales Cyclocross winter series, sponsored by Revolution Cycles, is back up and running for 2010 / 2011. So if you fancy something to keep you motivated over the winter months, and to get you out of the house, then get yourself along to these locally organised events. Not too sure of the entry price yet, but from memory, last year's races were £6 each. The only date I have so far is the first race on Sunday 9th October at 12noon at Glynliffon Country Park, Caernarfon. The post code is LL54 5DY There will be a total of 8 races in Oct - Nov - Dec 2011 including a new exciting circuit. I'll post up more details as and when I get them. Alternatively, have a look yourself on the North Wales Cyclocross Website

Gutted to be missing thes but they all seem to be on the weekends I have the kids I believe Matk raced turned up at the one in Caernarfon, his son Simon also raced and I think came first in his class (although I may be wrong). For anyone wanting something to do over the winter to maintain their fitness get fit, I can recommend these as they are both fun and welcoming. There's no snobery if you turn up on a mountain bike and just want to try it out. As I said, gutted to be missing them
