The Penmachno trail maintenance team are planning another trail maintenance day on Saturday 3rd December and as usual everyone is invited ;D It's the usual deal - meet at Conwy Falls Cafe at 10am then truck on up into the trails for a few hours of digging, clearing, pot-hole filling etc., then head back to the cafe for tea & cake at around 4pm. There have been some great turnouts on the previous days, with many MBNW members taking part, so hopefully it will be the usual suspects plus a few new faces All the tools (?) will be provided - all you need to bring is waterproofs, food to keep you fuelled for the day and a cheery outlook ;D Check out the Penmachno Facebook Page for more details.

Might do.
Really need to do some work on the car this weekend though so I'll have to see how things pan out.
Last time I took my bike and went out afterwards which made for a pretty good day out.

Bit of a low turnout today as I guess people have a lot of other things to do in the run up to Christmas. Anyway we managed to dig channels to drain all the wet bits on the very last downhill, so hopefully at least one of the sections will now be less reminiscent of riding through a swimming pool. Probably needs some holes filling as well, but that's for another day.
There was talk of the next one being on January 14th, but I'm sure this rumour will be confirmed soon. One for the New Year's resolutions maybe ;D
