Ok not wishing to come across as a thick git but the tyres on my Boardman are Mountain king 2.2 would 1.75 to 2.5 be the correct size tubes to buy also any recomendation on brand. As I also need tubes for my hybrid the tyres are sized 28 x 1 3/8 - 1 5/8 what would be the correct size tubes for this.

Correct for the MTB tube, but careful to get the right valve for your rims as well. Presta are the skinny ones and Schaeder like on your car. Continental tend to be a good brand. I think 28 inch is quite an odd wheel size, but these should do as long as you can deal with Dunlop valves? www.wiggle.co.uk/continental-tour-28-inner-tube-dunlop-valve/
