THere is a certain amount of local knowledge that comes into play when using this trail as it can get very busy, there a Trail called Follow the Dog thats supposed to be excellent also Giant are building some new sections. I was on a ride up at Penmachno with a bunch of guys from the Midlands so Cannock is there local trail. If any of you want to go I can ask them to guide us round and see some cheeky bits. Yeah it was Follow The Dog (Long Version) we did. Must be Giant who are funding the Northshore sections being built

Nice pics - but where are all the photos of these women you keep mentioning? ;D Dyls, trust me, I actually tried but she'd just gone too far for me to photo. Sikora can vouch for it. I was well p1ssed off. It was right by the man-made wooden berm. Ah well BTW, it was bloody packed today. The car park is massive and as we were leaving, cars were being parked on the road outside the entrance. It didn't cause us a problem though. Follow the Dog is the main route and, as Sikora said, we did the "long" version, which is 1 mile further than the...well, "not long" version. It's an excellent trail if you like some small to medium jumps, loads of switchbacks, billions of twists and tight turns, fast low-berms and narrow spaces between trees (handlebar width apart). As said before, there's only one, maybe two, longish uphills, any others are very short lived. There are then quite a few really good DH sections.
