My gears (chain on the rear casette) started jumping on our last forum ride. tbh I haven't had much chance to look at it properly but I couldn't solve it by adjusting the barrel on the gear cable near the brake leaver.
The bike is virtually brand new so I wouldn't expect it to be a problem with cable stretch.
Any ideas - I'll have a proper look on sat.

I thought cable stretch occurred towards the beginining of a cables life?
Just sounds like lack of tension to me, so if the barrel adjusters wont sort it, pull a bit of cable through the mech

I'd be inclined to say cable tension as well. Also Dyls, check the drivetrain components, particularly the chain itself, for foreign objects. I had a similar problem recently caused by the smallest ever piece of slate stuck in one of the chain links. Good clean sorted it out. Pob lwc!

I was guessing with cable stretch!!
I'll have a proper look over the weekend and give the chain a good seeing to as well.

Yeah defo check the chain, I my gears and shifting were all over the place last week on a ride at CYB, had a good look and it was a stiff link in the chain.
