Just thought i would start by making a little guide as to what i take with me on a cycle ride if anyone wants to add on please do, I cant wait to hear what mr voodoo takes. 1.Camelbak 2.Pump (Wrapped around pump is ducktape and insulation tape always handy) 3.Old inner tube cut to the size of cable ties as a cable tie storage pocket 4. Inner tube 5. Topeak hexus multi-tool with chain tool 6. Spare tyre levers incase the ones on the multitool break 7. Puncture repair glue and patches 8.Chain link EXTRA 9. First aid kit 10.waterproof's "it is wales" 11.Camera/mobile 12.Money 13.Identification Notes to self: check pump works Anything else i should equip myself with other than a spare mech hanger?

Not heard of that one before Always pack a basic first aid kit, you never know what might happen to you or who you stumble across Some spare clothing, a shower proof jacket/gilet a camera for the pics that make this forum great O and don't forget that old banana at the bottom of the bag

Seems like a pretty decent list apart from mobile phone, ID and some cash Take more than one innertube if you have space. Every now and then check your pump works before going out because it's no use having 3 tubes if you can't pump them up ::

Gear cable Two tubes of transvaising ointment still in there after riding across Wales 18 mths ago Old brake pads (to throw at wild animals when under attack) Bottom bracket tool (also locks discs on Crossrides) Cone spanners ( I was stuck at Llandegla once and needed some) Broken chain link tool ( broken after trying to adapt it to a spanner type thing prior to carry cone spanners) 2 or 3 litres of water Shock pump Other pump 3 pairs of gloves (lucky for priceyla after he discovered that going up Snowden in a blizzard wearing a pair of Marigold's doesn't quite cut the mustard) A pair of old jockey wheels but notr sure off which bike Tie wraps (sometimes) Two tubes Puncture kit Waterproof Multi tool Big allen key the size of which wasnt on my multi tool but fits the cranks on a bike I don't ride any more Camera GoPro (sometimes) Butties (sometimes) 1972 Edition of Razzle to help me keep warm if I'm stranded I'll have a proper look tomorrow bu that's just from memory

And I thought I was the one who carried the kitchen sink with me.
My kit also includes a piece of toothpaste tube, a tubeless repair kit and some small pliers for pulling out thorns etc
