Is it a standard derailleur bolt or are the X9 ones different?
My LBS sold me a normal one for £1 (the only thing they've ever sold me and not told me to order off the internet ;D )

oh thanks Pete, will look into that, don' t really know if its a special one- its off Stu s' new bike not mine. The hanger kits you can buy are about £15 - a lot for a bolt

Bit weird that the bolt bent and not the hanger itself? I thought the hangers were designed to fail to save everything else. Can't help you with a SRAM bolt but I might have an old Shimano one if I scrabble round in my box of bits.
