I'm currently running a set of avid elixir 3's on the Spicy . . . . . but they just don't seem to have any "bite".
I recon it's the pads (possibly). So, can anyone recomend a set of non-avid pads that may bork better? I'm used to one finger braking, so having to wrench on awhole hand-full of lever isn't really inspiring any confidence!

Superstar mate, and buy a bulk pack of the Red Kevlar pads they are normally a tenner a pair but if you buy 4 they work out at £6.25 a pair and I think they are better than the originals on my Hopes. They dont last as long but thats probably why they bite better. superstar.tibolts.co.uk/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=u6lcio8l8i24shkkjv3198muu6

The red Kevlars seem to last as long as the organics but with a bit of extra bite, at that price I don;t care if they only last me 4 months ....Oh, and they squeal far less in the wet than Hopes

The sintered ones last a lot longer but you don't get as much bite with them.
