Took it you liked the Climachx? Yeah i enjoyed the downhill parts at the end but the exposed rocks when wet were tricky but the long slog up was not so enjoyable then again with a fresh set of legs it would be ok but 11km??? it didnt feel like that at the end. Ady, I also ride clipped in only a few had flatties, also i enjoyed the Summit trail especially the mark of Zoro but thwere was something missing in the trail that didnt make me go 'wow' Also what is the Syfydrin trail like Ady?? as we missed it yestersday i actually want to try it out.

Just rerad that the cli-machx is 15km so with the 16km covered at Nant-yr-arian thats 31km not bad for a days riding.

Not certain but think we added an extra loop on to the summit trail which bumps that up a bit, whos up for a trail centre challenge, CYB, Penmachno, The Marin and Llandegla all in one day ;D.

Saturdays ride was mental next time I'll try not to take you lot on any SHORT cuts sorry. The final down on the climax is 1 of my best down hills but I was so shagged that it took an age to complete. 2 rides in 1 day with my fat ass no wonder I drank over 10 pints on sat nite :-).

The Syfydrin Trail takes in more of the countryside that Nant-Y-Arian has to offer and takes you out on the more exposed bit with some tasty double track, it can also be a bit of a slog and theres some long drawn out climbs, However it does take in some of the manmade singletrack of the other routes. I enjoyed it I was also with a large group from another forum when I did it around this time last year. Just when I got my bike.
