Apparently the best repellent is skin so soft from Avon which is what the marines use in Scotland

Wowsers, lets hope the Welsh midges haven't mutated with the Scottish midges to form an all conquering human blood thirsty army which may go on and conquer the world. And if they do then just pop into Boots and arm up with Neet TBH as I was faffing with the steed at the end of the Eigiau ride on wednesday night they took a few chunks out of me and I don't usually get bitten  Let hope the mutation hasn't started................................ |

Avon skin so soft...... Phaw didn't work for me, my skin wasn't so soft either. Lol. Good old fashioned, stinky, take your breath away mozzi spray for me from now on. Anyone want to try skin so soft I have 2 btls going spare. Lol

Vitamin B apparently works (think its B1) it excretes through your sweat and the little critters dont like it (i know this is the case with mossies). I think i read this on the livestrong site
I think this is also found naturally in beer, so could excuse to drink and try it out!!!
