Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction with my forks. iv got the rockshox totems ( coil ) there's oil leaking from the seals resulting in horrible soft suspension. I'm a complete noob with bikes, only started out a few months ago. what to do next ? Are they easy to change or is it a local bike shop ? Or anyone local fancy making a little cash ? any help ,much appreciated

someone on here might be able to help you with a solution to fix it your self but a LBS shop might be worth a visit just to get a price and piece of mind they are not going to fail on you when you need them most or check these guys out in Holywell www.stendec-works.comhope you get them sorted soon to get back out on trails

If they're like other Rock Shox then it's quite easy to replace the seals. They tend to last quite a while though, are they quite old?
Download the service manual from the SRAM website and it should tell you how to service them, which usually involves tanking the seals out anyway. (There are also videos on You Tube). The manual tells you what materials you need for the service - oils and grease. You'll also need a syringe for measuring the oil which you can get from Boots but the biggest they stock is only 5ml.
You can buy seals from Chain Reaction and other places, just put the new ones in instead of the old ones.
If you're not sure about doing it yourself then I've been told Stendec are really good although I've not used them myself. You'll have to pay for the seals on top of the cost of servicing them though.
Edit: You can get suspension oil and the grease from CRC or Stendec, but it's often cheaper to buy from a motorbike shop if they have it in stock.
