Was it really wet up at the top? I got soaked just riding up and down the road next to Crafnant! I really need to make some time to do the whole route.

Like Dan said, thats one hell of a ride, brilliant. Most of the trail was like a river, it was technical riding most of the way. Loads of sliping and sliding, we all came off at some point with Dave taking gold about 20mins in to the ride (saved by a bush ;D)
We went from crafnant along the lake then up, over toward capel, we dropped down in to capel then up the roman road up the ogwen, half way up the ogwen we cut up towards Cowlyd, then it was along Cowlyd (which was wild and really techy) then up the hill at the end taking us out of the valley, then we tried to cut over back toward crafnant, this was the point we got totally lost and ended up fighting our was through a thick forest full of brambles and slippey roots.
Top ride lads, fair play we must be nuts, that was a mission and a half. Defo gets epic status that one, where we off to next ;D?
(sorry no pics from me still aint got a new camera)

I loved it, superb trail especially down to Capel.
Dave's crash was classic, he landed straight in a bush for a super comfy landing.
I'm up for doing it again as well (mental note-use flat pedals.), maybe stretch it out a bit and start at Geirionedd next time? A little work needed on our finishing route though, slightly off piste shall we say (the pictures say it all.). ;D

That first pic of me and Dan came straight out of the freemans catalogue ;D.
The last pic of Dave is no exaggeration, we had to fight our way through, take a machette next time i think lads ;D
Ady we only saw one person up by cowlyd (the guy in the landie) and Dan knew him ;D

Gar- think it is the one in bike fax but not 100% coz i aint got the book, well worth the ride mate.
Leon- think it was just over 5 hrs but seemed a lot shorter, think it was because it seems a very flowing ride in the sense that theres no massive up and down hills, lots of gentle gradient techy fun riding ;D

It's deffo my favourite trail to pratice my over the bars technnique ;D I'll find a route through that forest even if it kills me. How did the Marin ride go Leon?
