dont know if this has been covered before or whether it is old news but i have just had trouble getting hold of replacement axles for DMR V12 flat pedals. they have apparently been discontinued (which is poor as i bought these so that i could replace parts). chain reaction are now out of stock but j e james still have a few. so if you use V12 or V12 mags get some spare axles before they've all gone. i dont think the titanium axles have been discontinued and im not sure about the V8's. the bearings can be bought from any bearing supplier at a fraction of the price of cycle specific retailers. i used www.onlinebearings.co.uk as they do a kit specifically for the V12's and were cheap. however my old bearings were still working well but the axles had worn a groove from lack of maintenance. i thought they were 'fit and forget' but eventually got full of grit and wore down. anyhow. now you know ne

I may well be wrong here, but aren't the DMR V12's made by Welgo even though Welgo sell their V12's as a copy and if so maybe that's a route you could go down

replied fast!
Les,
No not at all, we have some here. We will be moving towards doing a rebuild kit in future rather than all the individual parts, but we will still always then have the axles individually too.

so if i understand right - a lot of major online retailers say they are discontinued but DMR themselves say they haven't been?
i wonder what the price of the service kit will be when it is only available from DMR?
i just had a look on the upgrade bikes website in the response you got and what do you know - only titanium axles listed for the V12s.
lesz42 - is upgrade bikes the same company as DMR then?
