Can anyone recommend an air compressor. Hoping it will make fitting tubeless tyres easier.

Have you tried a track pump? Always worked on tubeless for me.

I read somewhere that if you use a compressed air canistor to get a tubeless tyre in inflate, then you need to let the air out and pump in up again with a 'normal' pump once the tyre has taken shape. This is due to the compressed air having some sort of reaction with the sealant and rendering it less effective. Not sure how true it is though Anyway, I carry a canistor with me instead of a pump, but mainly because it's too bloody cold in winter to stand around pumping a tyre up when it only takes a second or two with comprssed air.

If I was you I'd get a 25 ltr conpresser, witch is run by mains electric or a generator,if your looking at the ones you put in the car as a power source get a track pump, because they don't work very well, you can pick up 25ltr compressors of eBay around 30 to 40 pound used, you can plug it in before you go and take the compresser with you they will blow up car tyres and van tyres,it's always worth having one even if you don't take it
