I've been given a weekend pass and I'm trying to decide whether to head up to the Quiet Site for the weekend with the van and ride the Whinlatter or stay at home and have a pop at the Cheshire Cat sportive.
A couple of days in the lakes sounds like the preferred option but by the time I've forked out for fuel, site fees and the ubiquitous beer or two it's most certainly the more expensive option.
So does anyone fancy making a weekend of it? Maybe the Borrowdale Bash on the Saturday and the Challenge on the Sunday?
At the moment I can't justify wasting a rare weekend away and a wedge my hard earned for a couple of days worth of 'Billy no mates' riding.....I can get that on the Clwyds!!

Cheshire Cat for a change for me in 2013 as I'm back to my normal size now after losing 1.5 stone.

Would love to but I'm once again stuck out at Sea Gutted really as I enjoyed draging the big bike around there this year and was looking forward to giving it a proper seeing to on the HT. As for the Cheshire Cat, Trace has said she fancies doing that instead on her own so if you do that instead there'll be a decent MBNW posse.
