Quick question does anyone know the differences between X5 / X7 and X9 rear mech?? apart from the prices..

Quick question does anyone know the differences between X5 / X7 and X9 rear mech?? apart from the prices.. All work exactly the same, the X9 is the lightest and slightly better jockey wheels/alu cage, the all work with each others shifters. i.e Mrs Igg has X7 shifters/X9 mech.....but 5 will work with 7 or 9 and vice~versa. Just don't throw any X0 into the mix as they're slightly different IIRC. Also it may seem obvious but dont mix 10sp & 9speed (if you've got 9 speed shifters then get a 9 speed rear mech!) |
