For me? Well I don't know where to start most of everything I've done on my Mtb has been a highlight this year and its really all down to joining the forum, meeting up with good people, improving my skills and fitness and getting jake out on his bike too. Thanks to everyone I've rode with this year for making it a great one

ive also had loads of high points this year, all linked with building fitness as the year has gone on, each month probably had its own highlight, from the "girls" elans revenge ride in january, that almost killed me, but loved every second of it, to our trip up snowdon in febuary, for me that was a real accompleshment at the time! then there has been loads of other truely great rides thoughout the "summer" where i have met some fantastic people and learned some amazing routes. The biking highlight for me has to be doing the passportes du soleil in july, what an amazing event and i really hope i can do it again sometime! also there was a conwy mountain ride that stood out for me as a fave, oh and a good few clwyds evening rides in the summer - the list is endless, so a big thank you to everyone involved in all the rides, and everyone i have met throughout the year - here is hopeing that 2013 is just as fun - i have to say my one highlight of the year, although not biking related was the birth of our baby girl, Jessica 6 weeks ago! have a great 2013 people and i hope to start getting out again now, so hopefully see some of you on the trails

My 4day Alpine road riding in northern Portugal, staying in hostels in mountain villages. my only piss off was i geared up in all blue Lycra cos i was told me hire bike was a blue/white light weight Portuguese road bike, but turned out to be green/white Hey come on you gotta look cool over there everybody else does... Great way to improve your fitness

Highlights would be finally doing Snowdon on a perfect evening with great company. Various bumbles around Conwy mountain area. Entering the Welsh nationals at CYB (but also see below). Doing Drum several times, every time different due to weather. Trying a clown bike in Tuscany (again see below). Etape Eryri. But best of all Wild Wales. Worst times, realising too fat/ unfit then breaking bike at Welsh nationals (though this may have saved me even more embarrassment). Having to push clown bike several miles after Tuscan mud knackered stupid clown bike designed for California. Looking for various hedges/ woods on wild wales as Tiblisi two step kicked in ( not so easy in bib shorts). But worst has to be looking like Borat on climb up to summit of Snowdon (bib shorts again). But all in all the bad weren't so bad as had some really good times to get the bad times.
