Well after another alarming problem with my Pure Racing Cobra i900R Remote Seatpost on the Sunday Forum ride, I called Superstar Components to tell them the saddle moved over to the left and would not stay facing forward like it should, nearly made me come off a few times on the steeper bits. :oAnyway they were rather good about it and asked me to send it back so they can look at it. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

Got my seatpost back this morning.. that was quick so brownie points to Superstar for superfast service. now down to the problem with the seatpost. This is what Superstar said: 1. The head of the seatpost is threaded and bonded to the top of the post for some reason this bonding appeared to not have enough applied. 2. The post has been stripped, serviced and reassembled correctly by the UK KS service centre. Will need to refit it now to my bike and throw myself down a steep mountain side to test it.

Tried refitting my seatpost all seemed well till I tried adjusting the cable on remote lever, the allen key screw must be poor quality or they mucked it up when I sent it back as I could not untighten it to free the cable and when I took the lever back off the bars the hinge broke. How annoying, I used na good quality Crank Brothers multi-tool to tighten the screw on the red lever the cable goes through so I can't blame my tools. So its going back again.
